My name is Kara Collins. Since my very first visit to Walt Disney World, in 1994 at age 3, I have always been fascinated by the “Disney Magic.” I always hear the comments, “Oh, Disney is just a place for kids,”, “Haven’t you had enough Disney?”, or my favorite one, “Haven’t you outgrown that place yet?” It always hurts me to think that people have a childish outlook on Walt Disney World and I have created this blog to prove to those non-believers that no matter the age the Disney magic never dies, especially for those who have the courage to believe in their dreams.
Walt Disney World is my favorite vacation spot and one that my family and I frequent at least once a year. Disney is consistently refurbishing and expanding in order to keep its guests coming back. Walt Disney World offers experiences not just for children but for guests of all ages, especially young adults.
I’ve been visiting the world since the age of 3 and now that I have entered my 20’s, I find my experiences to be even more magical than they were when I was young. During my most recent visits, I have discovered new attractions and experiences that Disney has created especially for its older audiences.
To my followers: I hope to convince all of you non-believers that Disney Parks are a place to be enjoyed by all no matter your age.
“Too many people grow up. That’s the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. They don’t remember what it’s like to be 12 years old. They patronize, they treat children as inferiors. Well I won’t do that.” ~ Walt Disney
